Accommodation Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Answers telephone calls and follows through on requests
• Supervises, trains, directs, and coordinates room cleaners in the prompt and efficient housekeeping of guest rooms, according to the hostel standards.
• Assures adherence to policies and standards
• Supervises the completion of short notice requests for room changes
• Notifies supervisor of any rooms requiring replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Inspects all check out/stay over rooms after they are made up, keeps records of room check-outs and rooms made up
• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper use of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• OND in Hospitality Management or a related field is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations and quality standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
