Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Ensure guest rooms, corridors, and public areas are cleaned and prepared to standard.
• Conduct routine inspections and address quality gaps promptly.
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping team members.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment usage.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up for resolution.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, attendance, and housekeeping activities.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry.
• Proven supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• OND/HND in Hospitality or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service mindset.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute to Badagry.
