Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain rooms, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, windows, and surfaces.
- Make beds, change bed linens, and replace towels as required.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and other frequently used surfaces.
- Replenish toiletries, cleaning materials, and other essential supplies.
- Collect and dispose of waste appropriately, following hygiene and safety procedures.
- Wash, dry, fold, and arrange laundry and linens where required.
- Inspect assigned areas to identify maintenance issues, damages, or items requiring attention.
- Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and lost or damaged property to the supervisor.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when items need replenishment.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of residents, guests, or employees.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
