Job summary
A hotel housekeeper attendant (or room attendant) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas. They ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment for guests by changing linens, restocking amenities, and promptly addressing customer requests to uphold the establishment's quality.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deep Cleaning: Sanitize bathtubs, showers, toilets, and sinks. Mop floors and wipe down all bathroom fixtures.
- Bedding & Linen: Strip used beds, change pillowcases, and make beds with crisp, fresh linens.
- Dusting & Vacuuming: Dust furniture, mirrors, and fixtures. Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard floors.
- Trash & Debris: Empty all garbage cans, remove recycling, and clear any remaining room service trays.
- Public Areas: Clean and maintain assigned public spaces, such as hotel lobbies, hallways, and elevators.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
