Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds and replace towels.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitise rooms and public areas.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities.
• Clean bathrooms and ensure all fixtures are functioning properly.
• Report maintenance defects, damages and missing items promptly.
• Ensure corridors, stairways and public areas remain clean and presentable.
• Collect and deliver laundry as required.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning programmes and special cleaning assignments.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records and checklists.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping enquiries.
• Support other departments where required to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 Monthly
