Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings
• Ensure that spaces are welcoming, safe, and well-organized, directly contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of residents, guests, or clients. 

Requirements:

• No formal degree required; basic literacy is often sufficient.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not always necessary.
• On-the-job training in cleaning methods, safety, and equipment use.
• Reliability, honesty, discretion, and customer service orientation.
• The capability to perform manual tasks and long hours of standing or moving.
• Attention to detail – spotting dirt, clutter, or disorganization quickly.
• Organization – arranging items neatly and managing cleaning schedules.
• Time management – completing tasks efficiently within deadlines.
• Communication – interacting politely with clients, guests, or supervisors.
• Physical stamina – handling repetitive tasks like lifting, bending, and standing.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques – using appropriate products and methods for different surfaces. Adaptability – working in varied environments such as homes, hotels, hospitals, or offices.
