Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Patrol hotel premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or other security concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
- Control access to hotel facilities and verify the identity of visitors when necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, accidents, and fire alarms.
- Assist guests and staff with safety-related concerns and provide support during emergencies.
- Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential security and safety hazards.
- Collaborate with management and law enforcement agencies when required.
- Enforce hotel rules, regulations, and security procedures.
- Ensure all emergency exits and safety equipment are accessible and functioning properly.
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate; additional security training is an advantage.
- Previous experience in security services, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
