Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Patrol hotel premises, including guest areas, parking lots, entrances, and restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Control access to the hotel and verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, accidents, and guest concerns.
• Investigate and document incidents, thefts, damages, or suspicious activities.
• Enforce hotel security policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist in emergencies such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and incident records.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire services, and emergency responders when necessary.
• Provide assistance and directions to guests and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Protect hotel assets and help prevent loss, theft, or vandalism.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/High School Diploma; additional security training is an advantage.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or hospitality security preferred.
• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and basic first aid is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
