Hotel Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues reported by guests or hotel staff.

  Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and facility-related problems.

• Ensure proper operation of generators, water systems, air conditioning units, elevators, lighting, and other hotel infrastructure.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and repair documentation.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in emergency response situations and implement safety procedures when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support renovation projects and facility improvement initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a High School (S.S.C.E)
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
