Hotel Maintenance Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hotel Maintenance Officer to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to repair requests, and inspecting hotel systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues reported by guests or hotel staff.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and facility-related problems.
- Ensure proper operation of generators, water systems, air conditioning units, elevators, lighting, and other hotel infrastructure.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and repair documentation.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in emergency response situations and implement safety procedures when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support renovation projects and facility improvement initiatives as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School (S.S.C.E)
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
