Job summary
The Hotel Laundry Personnel is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. The role ensures that all laundry items are cleaned, maintained, and delivered according to hotel standards while providing excellent service and maintaining hygiene and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, steam presses, and ironing machines safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper use and storage of detergents, chemicals, and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
- Track and record laundry quantities and inventory levels.
- Collect and distribute clean linens and uniforms to designated departments.
- Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow hotel hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
- Assist in conducting linen and uniform inventory counts.
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly.
- Support housekeeping operations as assigned by management.
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate.
- Previous experience in hotel laundry, housekeeping, or a related role is an advantage.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
