Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Help guests with luggage handling and room orientation
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests
- Monitor hostel premises to ensure safety and security
- Maintain visitor logs and report any suspicious activities
- Ensure common areas (lobby, corridors, kitchens, lounges) are clean and tidy
- Report maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical faults, or damages
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Assist with moving furniture or equipment as needed
- Support inventory control of cleaning and operational supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in emergency procedures (fire drills, evacuations, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of secondary school education (High School Diploma or equivalent)
- Previous experience in hospitality, facilities, or customer service is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
