Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons.
- Teach relevant Nigerian, African, and world history topics in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage students to analyse historical events and develop critical-thinking skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and examination materials.
- Use appropriate teaching resources, historical documents, and visual materials.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records.
- Participate in school activities and extracurricular programmes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in History, History Education, or a related field.
- Teaching experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian, African, and world history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good classroom management abilities.
- Passion for education and student development.
- TRCN certification is an advantage.
