Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and promote health awareness programs for employees and the public.
- Educate individuals and communities about healthy eating, physical activity, personal hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Organize health talks, wellness campaigns, and preventive healthcare awareness events.
- Promote regular medical checkups and early detection of health conditions.
- Share accurate information about common health concerns, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and other preventable diseases.
- Encourage healthy workplace practices and employee wellness.
- Collaborate with qualified healthcare professionals and relevant organizations to deliver health education programs.
- Support community outreach programs and public health initiatives.
- Prepare educational materials, health messages, presentations, and promotional content.
- Use appropriate communication channels, including social media, to promote health awareness.
- Collect feedback and prepare reports on health promotion activities.
- Refer individuals to qualified healthcare professionals when medical assessment or treatment is required.
Requirements:
- OND in Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or a related field.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Ability to organize health campaigns and community outreach activities.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and social media skills.
- Compassion, integrity, and a commitment to public health education.
- Relevant professional registration where required for the duties performed.
