We are seeking a smart, experienced, and teachable Head Teacher to provide academic, administrative, and instructional leadership within the school. Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and administrative leadership for the school. 
  • Supervise teachers and support staff to ensure effective performance and professional conduct. Coordinate lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and instructional activities.
  • Monitor teaching quality and ensure lessons are delivered effectively.
  • Observe classroom activities and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Develop and maintain academic schedules, lesson timetables, and school calendars.
  • Monitor student attendance, academic performance, behaviour, and overall development.
  • Review students’ assessments, progress reports, and academic records.
  • Identify learning gaps and coordinate appropriate support for students.
  • Maintain discipline and promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and academic standards.
  • Coordinate staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and school activities. Handle parent enquiries and resolve academic or administrative concerns professionally.
  • Support admissions, orientation, examinations, school events, and other key activities.
  • Maintain accurate academic, staff, and administrative records.
  • Prepare regular reports on academic performance, staff activities, and school operations.
  • Work closely with school management to implement improvement plans and achieve school objectives.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and a strong school culture. 


Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a BSc.
  • 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
