Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on, high-potential Head of Technology to take ownership of the platform as we move from early build to scale.
This is not a support role.
This is a foundational ownership role for someone who wants to:
- Lead the technical direction of a live product
- Build systems that scale in real-world environments
- Grow into long-term technical leadership within the business
You will be responsible for shaping how the platform evolves technically as usage grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture, system design, and scalability of the platform
- Lead product development and continuous iteration cycles
- Ensure platform performance, reliability, and security
- Translate business and market needs into technical execution
- Build structure, documentation, and engineering discipline
- Support future team expansion as the product scales
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience building and shipping real products
- Early-career or mid-level engineer ready for true ownership responsibility
- Ability to think beyond code into systems, scalability, and architecture
- Comfortable working in early-stage, fast-moving environments
- High initiative, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
- Passion for building meaningful, high-impact products
This Role Is NOT
- A freelance or short-term contract role
- A purely advisory or title-only CTO position
- A corporate, highly structured engineering role
This is for a builder who wants ownership, not just employment.
Compensation
Equity-based (5%–8%, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff)
with a cash component that will evolve as the business scales.
