Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on, high-potential Head of Technology to take ownership of the platform as we move from early build to scale.

This is not a support role.

This is a foundational ownership role for someone who wants to:

• Lead the technical direction of a live product
• Build systems that scale in real-world environments
• Grow into long-term technical leadership within the business

You will be responsible for shaping how the platform evolves technically as usage grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture, system design, and scalability of the platform
• Lead product development and continuous iteration cycles
• Ensure platform performance, reliability, and security
• Translate business and market needs into technical execution
• Build structure, documentation, and engineering discipline
• Support future team expansion as the product scales

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping real products
• Early-career or mid-level engineer ready for true ownership responsibility
• Ability to think beyond code into systems, scalability, and architecture
• Comfortable working in early-stage, fast-moving environments
• High initiative, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
• Passion for building meaningful, high-impact products

This Role Is NOT

• A freelance or short-term contract role
• A purely advisory or title-only CTO position
• A corporate, highly structured engineering role

This is for a builder who wants ownership, not just employment.

Compensation

Equity-based (5%–8%, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff)

with a cash component that will evolve as the business scales.
