Job Summary

The Head of Sales and Marketing will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and growth of Fasco Bottled Water Company. This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen market position.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and growth targets.
  • Sales Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Establish clear sales goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards.
  • Marketing Strategy: Oversee the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and market share growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing and sales efforts.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that new products and packaging align with market demand and brand positioning.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Actively seek feedback to improve products and services.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales and marketing performance, providing regular updates to the executive team. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the sales and marketing teams. Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Brand Stewardship: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all sales and marketing initiatives align with Fasco's brand values and corporate sustainability goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry in Delta State
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation in the bottled water industry.
