Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s overall marketing strategy in alignment with business goals, revenue targets, and expansion plans.
  • Drive brand positioning and visibility across all customer touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging, identity, and customer experience.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and in-store channels to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
  • Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives to improve retail growth, product visibility, promotions, and customer conversion.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, paid advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and performance analytics.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities, customer behaviour, and emerging market trends.
  • Strategically manage customer engagement and loyalty initiatives to improve retention, repeat purchase behaviour, and brand advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to align marketing activities with business priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and strong return on investment.
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition cost, and overall business impact.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage key stakeholders, external agencies, and strategic partnerships where required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • A relevant professional marketing certification is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Marketing.
  • At least 3-5 years in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, retail, FMCG, or similar industry is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic marketing and commercial acumen.
  • Proven experience in brand building, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to drive business decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • High-level stakeholder management and leadership capability.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics dashboards.
  • Knowledge of paid media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategy.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and loyalty programme development.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and ROI reporting.
  • Strong understanding of retail and consumer marketing trends.
