The Head of Accounts will lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management to support the company's strategic objectives. This leadership role oversees all accounting operations and provides financial guidance to senior management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, corporate income tax)
- Coordinate external and internal audits
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in management
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
