Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources who will drive the people's strategy by overseeing workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organisational development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with business objectives, organisational growth, and a high-performance culture.
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding strategies, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and long-term workforce alignment.
- Ensure all HR policies, employee records, and documentation comply with regulatory, legal, and data protection requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks, including goal-setting, feedback systems, and employee development initiatives.
- Design and implement initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives across all business levels.
- Identify capability gaps and drive learning, development, and succession planning programmes to strengthen organisational leadership pipelines.
- Strategically manage compensation and benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee workforce planning, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Restructure and strengthen employee management processes to improve retention, preserve institutional knowledge, and maintain positive employee relations.
- Provide oversight on disciplinary matters, grievance procedures, and employee relations issues while ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or any related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
- Professional HR Certification (CIPM, PHRI, SHRM) is required.
- Minimum of 7 years progressive Human Resources experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical retail, FMCG, or similar industry is required.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong understanding of HR documentation, SOP development, and organisational processes.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements, HR legal compliance, compensation structures, and reward systems.
- Understanding of performance management systems, appraisals, KPIs, and employee development frameworks.
- Familiarity with HR software, HR analytics, data management, and reporting tools.
