We’re hiring a Head Chef in Lagos
We’re looking for someone who can own the kitchen like it’s their stage. Someone creative, organised, and confident enough to lead a team while keeping quality consistent every single day.
Role: Head Chef
Location: Orchid Road, Lagos (On site)
Industry: Hospitality / Restaurant
Experience: 5 to 8 years, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
What you’ll take charge of
•
Planning and updating the menu
•
Leading and training the kitchen team
•
Managing food prep, cooking standards and plating
•
Overseeing inventory, portion control and food costs
•
Ensuring hygiene and safety compliance
•
Coordinating with front of house for seamless service
•
Quality checking every dish before it leaves the pass
•
Supervising vendor orders and stock levels
•
Creating specials and seasonal menus
What we’re hoping for
•
Strong culinary background (restaurant or hotel experience is a plus)
•
Leadership that’s firm but fair
•
Good understanding of food costing and kitchen controls
•
Creativity with an eye for presentation
•
Ability to handle a busy service calmly
•
Passion for consistency and high standards
