Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Style different types of braids, including knotless braids, box braids, cornrows, twists, and other protective hairstyles.
- Consult with customers to understand their preferred styles and provide suitable recommendations.
- Ensure neatness, precision, and quality in every hairstyle.
- Properly prepare and handle customers’ hair before styling.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation of tools and workstations.
- Keep up with current hair trends, techniques, and styles.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant training in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Hair Braider or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of different braiding and protective hairstyling techniques.
- Creativity, neatness, and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet customers’ needs.
- Must be professional, hardworking, and customer-focused.
