Gym Supervisor
Job summary
Responsible for the coordination and smooth running of all services at the gym. Reports to the Managing Director.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Handle all front desk related activities including greeting members and guests, answering phone calls, registering new members, conducting inductions or tours in the absence of the Gym Instructor and responding to member enquiries professionally.
- Monitor access to the gym and report any suspicious activity to the Manager.
- Supervise the cleaning and general maintenance of the Fitness Centre.
- Supervise the activities of the Gym Attendants and cleaner to ensure cleaning schedules are delivered.
- Ensure gym equipment is properly maintained and resources are used efficiently.
- Collate and document feedback from members.
- Oversee payment and track members’ subscriptions to ensure only paying members use the gym.
- Ensure compliance with the Fitness Centre’s rules and regulations by staff and clients.
- Report issues requiring management attention promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc
- 2 years of previous in similar role
