Gym Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Welcome gym members and guide the proper use of fitness equipment.
• Assess members’ fitness levels, goals, and exercise needs to recommend suitable workout routines.
• Develop and demonstrate exercise programs tailored to individual fitness levels and objectives.
• Instruct members on proper exercise techniques, posture, and equipment usage to minimize the risk of injury.
• Supervise workout sessions and provide motivation, encouragement, and feedback.
• Monitor members’ progress and adjust workout plans where necessary.
• Conduct fitness demonstrations, group exercise sessions, and basic fitness assessments within the scope of training.
• Ensure gym equipment is used correctly and report damaged or faulty equipment to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment.
• Enforce gym rules, safety procedures, and appropriate equipment-handling practices.
• Provide basic guidance on warm-ups, cool-downs, stretching, and recovery.
• Maintain records of members’ workout plans, attendance, and progress where required.
• Encourage member engagement, satisfaction, and retention through professional customer service.
• Refer medical or nutritional concerns to appropriately qualified professionals.
• Assist in promoting gym memberships, fitness programs, and wellness activities.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of OND.
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
