About the company


Stockippa is a young, self-funded and growth-focused company building inventory and operations software for African businesses. We use AI to give these businesses sharper operational efficiency, helping them run leaner and decide faster. We move fast, ship often, and back our team to own outcomes end-to-end.


Our target customers are medium to large-scale importers, wholesalers and retail distributors operating in business clusters across Nigeria's rapidly-growing urban cities.


The Task


You will work very closely with the founders to design and implement go-to-market experiments aimed at low- to medium-tech users. This spans field sales campaigns, online marketing content for social media, and other initiatives we invent together.


The role blends strategic judgement with hands-on execution. It demands a deep understanding of the local business mindset and the ability to craft stories that resonate with traders, distributors, and operators in our target clusters.


What we are looking for:


  • At least 3 years of experience in field or growth marketing, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or a fast-moving technology environment
  • Creativity and strong storytelling skills
  • A deep understanding of the Nigerian local business owner's mindset and buying behaviour
  • A proven track record delivering measurable marketing initiatives, online or offline
  • A start-up mindset, comfortable owning initiatives from the ground up
  • A sharp instinct for effective "guerrilla marketing" initiatives
  • A self-disciplined, accountable working style, with sound judgement and attention to detail

Key responsibilities

  • Drive customer success from activation through to full integration
  • Shape and localise marketing campaigns to reflect our Nigerian customers' needs, buying behaviour, and competitive dynamics
  • Monitor competitors' offers, pricing signals, and messaging, and convert observations into clear strategic recommendations
  • Own marketing prioritisation, including budget allocation, ensuring focus stays on initiatives with clear commercial impact
  • Use market knowledge to initiate and run marketing pilots, and identify opportunities to scale what works
  • Provide structured market insights to product teams covering customer needs, acquisition barriers, messaging performance, and channel effectiveness
