We are looking to hire a General Manager to join our team.

  • Minimum Qualification : HND
  • Experience Level : Executive level
  • Experience Length : 7 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning: GMs play a pivotal role in formulating and implementing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. They align their company’s activities with the company’s mission and vision to drive growth and success.
  • Team leadership: General Managers lead and manage teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to achieve departmental and organizational goals. They foster a positive work environment and ensure that employees are motivated and engaged.
  • Operational oversight: GMs They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their company, department or business unit. This includes managing budgets and resources and ensuring that processes are efficient and effective
  • Decision-making: GMs make critical decisions that impact the organization’s performance and success. They analyze data, assess risks, and make informed choices to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Customer relations: Maintaining excellent customer relations is vital for many businesses. General Managers often interact with customers, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Bridge: GMs serve as a bridge between upper-level  management and front-line employees, ensuring that the organization functions smoothly.
  • Financial management: Managing budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Employee development: Overseeing hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Strategic partnerships: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the organization adheres to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality Control: Maintaining quality standards and ensuring products or services meet customer expectations.




Requirements:

  • BSC/HND in Business Administration & other related disciplines
  • Minimum of 7 years of cognate work experience in business management.
  • Postgraduate degrees & professional certificates will be added as an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication
  • Thorough understanding of the business process and management
  • Ability to coach others
  • Leadership
  • Financial management
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Analytical
  • Decision-making
  • Creating & managing budgets
  • Strategic thinking
  • Basic Computer knowledge, etc.
