Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to oversee network infrastructure, technical projects, vendors, and technical service delivery.
- CCNA is required; CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification is preferred.
- MUST have hands-on experience with PRTG as well as other monitoring tools.
- Knowledge: ISP technologies (Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP),
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and technologies, such as SNMP monitoring systems, packet analysers, etc.Familiarity with network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
