General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all DTL departments.
• Supervise Managers, Supervisors and Department Heads.
• Enforce company policies, SOPs, operating hours and service standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, productivity and professional conduct.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve serious customer complaints.
• Monitor daily sales performance and identify operational issues affecting revenue.
• Ensure proper coordination between Lounge, Bar, Kitchen, Salon, Car Wash, Snooker, Security and other departments.
• Monitor cleanliness, ambience, maintenance and general facility standards.
• Ensure food/service quality, stock discipline and wastage control.
• Coordinate events, shows and promotional activities with relevant teams.
• Ensure management instructions are implemented and followed through.
• Submit concise daily/weekly operational reports and immediately escalate serious incidents.
• Work closely with HR/Admin and the chartered accountant/internal auditor while maintaining proper separation of responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years practical hospitality/operations management experience.
• Previous experience managing a lounge, restaurant, hotel, entertainment venue or similar operation is strongly preferred.
• Strong staff-management and leadership ability.
• Good understanding of sales, cost control, stock management and customer service.
• Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Reporting Line:

• Reports directly to the founder/CEO/designated management authority.
• Department managers, supervisors and operational leads will report through the general manager as directed by management.

• The general manager will have authority to supervise operations and enforce approved company policies but must operate within DTL's financial and administrative approval structure.
• The GM must not bypass established financial controls, personally divert company revenue, approve unauthorised expenditure or interfere with independent financial/audit reporting.
