Role Description
We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-performance architecture that combines a robust Laravel backend with complex data acquisition pipelines using Node.js and Bright Data.
You won't just be building CRUD apps; you will be architecting systems that handle high-volume data ingestion and delivering it through a crisp, type-safe React frontend.
Qualifications
The Tech Stack
- Backend: PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Redis
- Data/Scraping: Node.js, Bright Data (Proxies & Web Unlocker)
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Maintain: Develop scalable web applications using Laravel for business logic and Node.js for asynchronous microservices.
- Data Pipelines: Manage our proxy infrastructure using Bright Data, ensuring reliable web scraping and data integrity.
- Frontend Architecture: Create responsive, component-driven UIs using React and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Performance: Optimise database queries (MySQL) and utilise Redis for queue management and caching to handle high traffic.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience with Laravel (PHP) and React.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and strictly typed environments.
- Experience with Node.js, specifically for web scraping or handling concurrent tasks.
- Familiarity with proxy management (specifically Bright Data/Luminati) is a massive plus.
- Solid understanding of database design and optimisation.
