Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities:

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement clean, maintainable UI components with a focus on accessibility and performance.
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into fully functional pages.
• Optimise front-end performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Backend Development

• Develop robust backend features and APIs using PHP (Laravel).
• Build reusable, scalable backend services, modules, and data pipelines.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services.
• Implement caching and optimisation using Redis.

Database & Data Management

• Design, query, and manage relational databases using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Optimize queries for better performance and data integrity.
• Support database schema design and maintenance.

System Architecture & DevOps:

• Assist in application deployment, version control, and system monitoring.
• Ensure application security, handling authentication, access control, and data protection.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices across the stack.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Provide technical input during product planning, architecture discussions, and sprint reviews.
• Maintain documentation for features, APIs, and system processes.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Solid experience building web applications with Laravel (PHP)
• Familiarity with Redis for caching, queues, and data optimization; Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management
• Experience with MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, and modern backend architecture
• Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and debugging
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, AlpineJS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker or container-based development.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Understanding of Git workflows and agile methodologies.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000.00  per month

Location: Oniru VI (100% On-site)
