This position is designed to create tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tools and cloud-native platforms to construct full-stack systems that address genuine challenges, not simply complete task lists. You'll be expected to deliver rapidly without sacrificing quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that balances immediate velocity with long-term sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and Deliver Full-Stack Features: Transform user stories from concept to production; define requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, validate thoroughly, and deploy
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Trace issues to their root causes, address the underlying problems (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to guarantee clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from accumulating

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems for their own sake
• Following specifications blindly without grasping the underlying problem
• Spending time in endless meetings about roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
• Simply delivering features; your responsibility is solving real problems
  

Full Stack Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Leveraging AI to create software that addresses genuine user needs, ships quickly, and remains maintainable over time
  

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Proven ownership: Documented experience taking full responsibility for complete modules, product features, or teams, beyond just contributing isolated tasks
• Self-sufficient execution: The capability to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain scenarios
• Hands-on experience using generative A.I. as part of your daily development workflow

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
