Fuel Attendant

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they arrive at the fuel pumps and providing friendly and efficient service.
• Operating the fuel pumps and handling fueling transactions accurately.
• Offering assistance to customers who may require help with fueling their vehicles, such as disabled or elderly patrons.
• Monitoring fuel levels and ensuring that fueling equipment is in proper working order.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment at the fueling station, including disposing of trash and cleaning up any spills.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Providing information to customers about fuel types, prices, and any promotions or loyalty programs.
• Occasionally performing additional tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves or assisting with inventory management.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of SSCE
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating fuel amounts.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in fueling transactions and equipment maintenance.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, such as fuel nozzles and trash bags.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
