Job summary
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-oriented Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and guests.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Manage visitor registration and ensure compliance with company security procedures.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate staff or department.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Respond to emails, inquiries, and customer requests promptly.
- Provide accurate information about the company's products, services, and policies.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues where necessary.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Prepare routine documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Maintain office records, filing systems, and databases.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment when necessary.
- Support internal departments with administrative and clerical duties.
- Coordinate courier services and outgoing deliveries.
- Ensure office equipment in the reception area is functioning properly and report faults when necessary.
Requirements:
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Office Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proven years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
