We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-oriented Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and guests.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
  • Manage visitor registration and ensure compliance with company security procedures.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Respond to emails, inquiries, and customer requests promptly.
  • Provide accurate information about the company's products, services, and policies.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and correspondence.
  • Prepare routine documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
  • Maintain office records, filing systems, and databases.
  • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment when necessary.
  • Support internal departments with administrative and clerical duties.
  • Coordinate courier services and outgoing deliveries.
  • Ensure office equipment in the reception area is functioning properly and report faults when necessary.


Requirements:

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Office Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
