Job summary

The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth guest experience at all times.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and attend to inquiries professionally
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage room reservations and bookings
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests promptly
  • Maintain accurate guest records and front desk documentation
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
  • Handle complaints politely and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized


Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND / HND
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presentable, polite, and customer-focused
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer knowledge
