Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver French lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach French grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Develop students’ confidence in communicating in French.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and examination materials.
- Use interactive activities and teaching resources to improve learning.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide feedback.
- Introduce students to French-speaking cultures where relevant.
- Maintain effective classroom management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in French, French Education, Modern Languages, or a related field.
- Strong spoken and written French.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create engaging language-learning activities.
- TRCN certification is an advantage.
