Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care to children.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate with children primarily in French to encourage language acquisition.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, naps, and playtime.
- Organize educational games, storytelling, and creative play in French.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children.
- Support homework and school-related tasks if applicable.
- Occasionally, accompany children to school, appointments, or outings.
Requirements:
- Fluency in French (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus.
- Proven experience as a nanny, au pair, or childcare provider.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to commit to a consistent schedule.
- Teaching or an early childhood education background is optional.
- Multilingual abilities.
- Experience with bilingual households.
