Food Business Manager
Job summary
The Food Business Manager will take ownership of business performance, operations, and sales growth across The Burger Place outlets. This role sits at the intersection of food operations, digital sales, marketing execution, and financial performance. The ideal candidate must be deeply familiar with how modern QSR brands drive sales today, not just through walk-ins, but through digital platforms, delivery apps, promotions, and data-driven campaigns.

Responsibilities:
Modern QSR Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales through online ordering platforms, delivery aggregators, and direct digital channels.
- Optimize performance on food delivery apps (menu positioning, pricing, promotions, visibility).
- Support and execute QSR sales tactics such as combo and bundle engineering, upselling and add-on strategies, limited-time offers (LTOs) and loyalty and repeat-purchase mechanisms.
- Collaborate with marketing on influencer campaigns, paid ads, and digital promotions.
- Monitor conversion rates, basket size, repeat orders, and channel performance.
Business & Financial Management:
- Track daily and monthly sales, costs, margins, and profitability.
- Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and weaknesses.
- Support pricing decisions and cost-to-profit optimisation.
- Prepare performance and sales reports for leadership.
Operations & Kitchen Oversight:
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, recipes, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular kitchen and outlet audits.
- Manage inventory, procurement flow, and wastage control
- Ensure speed, consistency, and premium presentation across outlets.
People & Performance Management:
- Supervise kitchen and outlet leadership.
- Set sales, service, and operational targets.
- Drive accountability, discipline, and staff productivity.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
Customer Experience & Brand Delivery:
- Own service quality across delivery and pickup channels
- Track and resolve customer complaints and feedback.
- Ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Food Business Manager, QSR Manager, Restaurant Operations Manager, or Similar.
- Strong proficiency in modern QSR sales methods, including digital ordering & delivery platforms, promotions and bundle strategy, and data-driven sales optimization.
- Strong understanding of food business economics (costing, margins, pricing)
- Experience with delivery-focused or fast-casual food brands is a major advantage.
- Analytical, numbers-driven, and execution-focused mindset.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work structure.
