Food & Beverage Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet areas.
• Ensure food and beverage service is delivered promptly and according to hotel standards.
• Assign daily duties and shifts for waiters, bartenders, and stewards.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate menu changes, promotions, or special events.
• Train department staff on service standards, etiquette, upselling, and customer service.
• Inspection of food and beverage items to ensure they meet hotel quality standards.
• Monitor temperature control, portion sizes, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and proper posting of sales.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor in a well-known brand of Hotels/Restaurants in Lagos or Abuja.
• Prior supervisory experience in F&B is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, team coordination skills, highly professional and disciplined.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and supervise all staff including waiters/waitresses to desired standard.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage inventory, stock control, and basic cost monitoring.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office).
