Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Investing (Capital Budgeting): Deciding which long-term projects, assets, or acquisitions the company should fund to generate the highest return on investment.
- Financing: Determining the optimal mix of debt and equity to raise funds for the business while minimizing costs and risk.
- Dividends & Profit Allocation: Deciding how much profit is reinvested into the company for growth versus what is distributed to shareholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Agricultural Management, or a related field.
- ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant finance experience.
- Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, or logistics is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax compliance, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
