Job summary

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities of the firm. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial management, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective strategic financial planning. This role involves managing budgets, monitoring cash flow, and preparing financial reports.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain accurate financial records and full-set accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Manage banking relationships and transactions.
  • Monitor project budgets and cost control.
  • Track project expenditures and revenue recognition.
  • Provide financial reports on project performance.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure profitability.
  • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide management with financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Improve financial processes and systems efficiency.
  • Promote accountability and high performance within the team.
  • Provide financial analysis for investment and expansion decisions.
  • Contribute to long-term business sustainability and growth strategies.


Requirements:

  • Minimum HND
  • 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in accounting processes and financial reporting. Sound knowledge of accounting standards tax laws and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. IT savvy with good command of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and take initiative. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
