This role involves managing day-to-day monetary operations, preparing and analysing management reports, and supporting fundraising and grant applications.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop management reports and dashboards for the leadership team, board, and investors.
- Monitor key financial KPIs across business units and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, receipts, and payments).
- Ensure timely posting into accounting software or ERP systems.
Bank & Account Reconciliation:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that the company's financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with bank statements.
- Perform account reconciliations (general ledger, sub-ledger, vendor, and customer accounts) to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage invoices, vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and receivables.
- Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain proper documentation.
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts regularly.
Internal Control & Compliance:
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure that proper approvals are obtained.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Track budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and the head of functions to ensure financial targets are met.
Revenue & Cost Management:
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow management.
- Track revenue streams across Tuteria business units, Medbuddy, and international expansion.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement internal controls and financial risk management processes.
Grants, Fundraising & Investor Relations:
- Support the preparation of financial documents for fundraising, grant applications, and donor reporting.
- Prepare financial sections of investor and board reports.
- Ensure transparency and accountability to external stakeholders.
Systems & Process Improvement:
- Implement financial systems and tools that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Recommend improvements in accounting procedures, internal processes, and reporting processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
