We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Finance & Operations Analyst to support the financial and operational discipline of the business. This role will report directly to the Operations Lead and will play a critical role in ensuring that financial processes are structured, accurate, and consistently executed.

Responsibilities:
Financial Operations and Control:
- Track and manage company expenses and cash flow
- Ensure all vendor payments, salaries, and bills are processed accurately and on time
- Maintain clear and up-to-date financial records
- Support day-to-day financial operations with discipline and consistency
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
- Provide visibility into: Cash position, Burn rate, Key cost drivers
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Build structured reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Develop and maintain simple financial forecasts and models
- Track actual performance vs forecasts
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes
- Highlight risks and areas of concern proactively
- Design and implement simple, effective financial systems and processes
- Improve tracking, reporting, and accountability across the business
- Build lightweight tools/models that support decision-making
- Ensure consistency and repeatability in financial processes
- Work closely with the Operations Lead to support business operations
- Provide financial and operational insights that improve decision-making
- Support teams with structured data and reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years experience in finance, operations, or financial analysis
- Experience in a startup, tech company, or marketplace environment
- Strong proficiency in:Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work independently and execute with minimal supervision
- Experience building financial models or dashboards
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and local regulations
- Experience working in high-growth environments
- Ability to simplify complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders
- Clear and reliable financial tracking system in place
- Weekly reporting becomes consistent and actionable
- All payments and expenses managed without delays or errors
- Improved visibility into company burn and financial position
- Reduced need for CEO involvement in operational finance matters
