This role requires a finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to provide accurate financial insights that support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by processing daily transactions, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, expense claims, receipts, and client billings while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor office expenses, company loans, investments, and financial commitments.
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, and financial records to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and Monthly Performance Reports (MPR).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and commercial bids.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audit activities and maintain organized financial documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support payroll administration, statutory remittances, and regulatory reporting.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Experience within a laboratory, healthcare, professional services, or related industry is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, payroll administration, and statutory remittances.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage but not mandatory.
