Field Support Officer
Job summary
The Field Support Officer (FSO) is responsible for providing on-site operational and technical support to merchants and agents. The role ensures seamless deployment, maintenance, and performance of payment terminals while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth within the assigned territory.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, install, and configure POS terminals at merchant locations
- Provide on-site technical support and resolve terminal-related issues promptly
- Conduct routine visits to merchants to ensure optimal device performance
- Troubleshoot hardware and basic software/network-related issues
- Replace faulty terminals and manage terminal inventory within the assigned area
- Train merchants on the proper use of POS terminals and transaction processes
- Ensure compliance with company operational standards and policies
- Monitor transaction performance and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly field activity reports
- Support merchant onboarding and documentation where required
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in any relevant field
- 1–2 years’ experience in field operations, technical support, or POS support (preferred)
- Basic understanding of POS systems and electronic payment solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned territory effectively

Locations: Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Obalende
Renumeration: NGN 75,000 (plus other benefits)
