Factory Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of production workers and oversee the daily operations of the facility
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees
• Maintain equipment and machinery, including conducting regular inspections and scheduling repairs as needed
• Monitor production output and quality control to ensure that all products meet high standards
• Track inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer demand and manage production schedules
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Prepare reports for upper management on the status of operations and any issues or concerns that arise

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Chemistry
• 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and hold team members accountable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management software
