Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of company facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other utility systems.
• Monitor and maintain generators, including diesel levels, servicing schedules, and basic fault detection.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend appropriate corrective or preventive solutions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and unexpected repair costs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, work orders, and related expenses.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support new store openings, renovations, installations, and facility improvement projects when required.
• Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and maintained.
• Report recurring maintenance issues and recommend practical solutions to Management.
• Assist with general building maintenance, including doors, locks, tiles, ceilings, painting, and other facility-related repairs.
• Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, sockets, and circuit breakers.
• Practical knowledge of generator operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to monitor generator fuel levels and servicing schedules.
• Basic plumbing skills, including fixing leaks, taps, pipes, toilets, and drainage issues.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including identifying and reporting faults.
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of building and facility maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety standards relating to maintenance activities.
• Ability to maintain maintenance logs, reports, and work orders.
