Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operations of the mall and ensure the mall environment is clean, safe, functional and properly maintained.
• Supervise maintenance of the building, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems and other facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, damages, and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate technicians, contractors, cleaners, security and other service providers.
• Monitor and manage facility-related expenses and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergencies.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, incidents and prepare regular facility and maintenance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and other relevant facility regulations.
• Liaise with management, tenants, vendors and relevant authorities when necessary.

Requirements:

• HND in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in facility management, mall management, building operations or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, facilities, safety, and general operations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, vendors, technicians, and service providers.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational issues.
• Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate independently.
