Cook

Responsibilities:

• Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of Continental and Intercontinental dishes according to family preferences and dietary requirements:
• Menu Planning: Create and execute weekly menus that are diverse, balanced, and incorporate a mix of local and international cuisines.
  
• Food Presentation: Ensure all meals are plated and presented to a high standard.
  
• Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times, including cleaning up after meal preparation and ensuring all utensils and appliances are properly cleaned and stored.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor kitchen supplies (spices, oils, etc.) and inform the employer when stock is low to ensure a seamless cooking process.
  
• Time Management: Ensure meals are prepared and served promptly according to the daily schedule.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a private household or a reputable restaurant/ hotel setting.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in preparing both Continental and Intercontinental cuisines. You should be able to follow recipes and also innovate when necessary.
  
•  Applicants must be 38 years or older and must be male.
•  Must be available to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Must reside in or be able to easily commute to Ozuoba, Port Harcourt.
•  This role is strictly for cooking and kitchen management. The Cook is not required to go to the market; groceries will be provided. Therefore, you must be able to work effectively with the ingredients supplied.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 monthly
