Experienced Journalist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on trending topics and identify relevant stories and insights for our daily content.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a steady stream of compelling topics and stories.
• Analyze data metrics to gain insights into audience preferences and content performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with the production team to refine topics, script episodes, and enhance overall content quality.
• Stay ahead of current events, industry trends, and competitor content to ensure our podcast remains relevant and engaging.
• Monitor competitor podcasts and YouTube channels to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Journalism, or Communications.
• Proven experience in journalism or a similar role, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates in-depth research and storytelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis to uncover insights into audience behavior and content performance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and work closely with producers, host and other team members.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in digital media, SEO, and social media strategies to enhance content visibility and engagement.
• Creative thinker with attention to details and passion for podcasting, digital content creation and identifying stories that resonate with audiences.
