Job summary
The Hotel Security Personnel is responsible for protecting guests, employees, hotel property, and assets by maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment throughout the hotel. The role involves monitoring hotel activities, preventing security incidents, responding to emergencies, and enforcing hotel security procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor hotel premises, entrances, exits, parking areas, guest areas, and restricted zones.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property to identify and report security risks.
- Control access to restricted areas and monitor the movement of visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Observe CCTV cameras and promptly report suspicious activities.
- Protect guests, employees, hotel property, equipment, and other assets from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, accidents, and emergencies.
- Assist guests and staff during emergencies, including fire, evacuation, medical incidents, and other security situations.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitors, lost-and-found items, and other security-related activities.
- Enforce hotel security policies and procedures professionally and respectfully.
- Report suspicious persons, activities, damaged property, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with crowd control and maintain order during hotel events and busy periods.
- Work closely with management and other departments to resolve security and safety concerns.
- Ensure that hotel keys, access cards, and other security equipment are properly controlled.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guests, staff, hotel operations, and security matters.
- Perform other security-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a secondary school certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, security, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Honest, responsible, alert, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and nights when required.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
