The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall comfort of guest rooms, public areas, and assigned spaces. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping carts.
- Ensure lost and found items are properly documented and handed over according to hotel procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect guests' privacy.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate.
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
